Luigi is pretty much Mario’s identical brother but Luigi is green and because taller, skinnier as technology got better. Nintendo got the name Luigi from a pizza parlor right down the street from Nintendo’s head quarters in Redmond, Washington. Luigi became so popular that even he had his own game titles after him, with the most famous is Luigi’s Mansion.

Luigi is using his flash light in his game Luigi’s Mansion that came out for Nintendo 64.

Luigi was one of the feature characters in all the Mario Kart games that came out for several systems.
